APRIL: 
Bring your landscaping back to life!

Week 1​

  • Fertilize perennial shrubs beds with 10-10-10, Plant-tone, or Holly-tone.

  • Apply Preen or Treflan to beds to prevent weeds from germinating without harming plants.

  • Rake up excess dead grass and apply Dimension plus fertilizer for early weed prevention 

  • Easter plants Arrive: Tulips, Daffodils, & Easter Lilies 

Weeks 2-3​

  • New Arrivals 

    • ​Evergreen shrubs: Arborvitae, Azalea, Boxwood, Rhododendron.  

    • More pansies, cold tolerant annuals, small quart perennials, and spring veggies.

 

Week 4

  • Plant spring flowering bulbs, such as Dinnerplate Dahlia, Elephant Ears, Gladiola, and Calla Lily. Also time to plant Onion sets and Asparagus.
